Every home we build follows a proven process, refined over years of hands-on experience in Sydney's residential building industry. You'll always know what's happening, what's coming next, and who to call if you have a question.
STEP 1: INITIAL CONSULTATION
It all starts with a conversation. We meet with you on site or in person to understand your goals, your lifestyle, your budget and your timeframe.
We'll talk through what's possible for your block or existing home, answer your questions, and give you an honest view of whether your plans are achievable. There's no pressure and no obligation, just clear advice.
STEP 2: SITE ASSESSMENT AND FEASIBILITY
Before any plans are drawn, we look closely at your site. This includes the block's size, slope, orientation, access, soil conditions, easements and any council controls that may affect your build.
For knockdown rebuilds, we also assess the existing home and plan for demolition, service disconnections and any site-specific requirements. Getting this right early helps avoid costly surprises later.
STEP 3: DESIGN
Whether you come to us with plans already in hand or you're starting from scratch, we work with you to shape a design that suits the way you live.
We can collaborate with your architect or designer, or connect you with trusted design professionals from our network. Throughout this stage, we keep an eye on buildability and cost, so your design is something that can be delivered well and within budget.
STEP 4: DETAILED QUOTE
Once your design is settled, we prepare a detailed, itemised quote. It clearly sets out what's included, from structure and materials through to fixtures, fittings and finishes.
We'll walk you through it line by line, explain any allowances, and make sure you understand exactly what you're paying for. No hidden extras, no fine print surprises.
STEP 5: SELECTIONS
This is where your home really starts to take shape. We guide you through selecting your finishes, including flooring, tiles, cabinetry, benchtops, fixtures, appliances and hardware.
Our strong supplier relationships give you access to quality products, and our experience with finishes means we'll help you choose items that look great, work well together, and are installed properly.
Finalising selections before construction begins helps keep your build on time and on budget.
STEP 6: CONTRACT AND APPROVALS
With your design, quote and selections confirmed, we prepare your building contract. We'll take you through it in plain English before you sign.
We then manage the approval process on your behalf, whether through a Development Application (DA) with council or a Complying Development Certificate (CDC), depending on your project. We also arrange Home Building Compensation Fund insurance for all eligible work, giving you added protection throughout your build.
STEP 7: PRE-CONSTRUCTION
Once approvals are in place, we prepare your site for construction. This may include surveys, service connections, site set-up and, for knockdown rebuilds, safe demolition and site clearing.
We'll confirm your construction schedule and let you know what to expect in the weeks ahead.
STEP 8: CONSTRUCTION
Your build progresses through a series of key stages:
Progress payments are linked to these stages, so you only pay as work is completed. We'll keep you updated regularly, and you're welcome to arrange site visits at key milestones.
STEP 9: HANDOVER
Before you receive your keys, we walk through your new home together. We'll show you how everything works, provide your warranties and documentation, and make sure you're completely happy with the result.
STEP 10: AFTER YOU MOVE IN
Our relationship doesn't end at handover. We offer a maintenance period after completion to address any minor items that come up as your home settles, and your home is protected by statutory warranties under NSW law.
If you ever have a question about your home, we're only a phone call away.
